Navigating the tension between creating a sense of unrestricted flow and establishing moments of calm, deliberate pause defined the design process for Terrace House. The project’s layered, stepped volumes—its defining feature—demanded an approach that unified the interior and exterior environments, effectively turning the roof of one space into the garden floor of the next.

Careful calibration of sightlines, seamless integration of sliding glass systems, and a thoughtful dialogue between the built form and planted elements allowed us to create a home that feels both dramatically dynamic and profoundly anchored—constantly interacting with its terraces, yet offering a series of intimate, protected worlds within.
